Malfunctions of the liquid pump:
Leak of a cooling liquid through an epiploon because of deterioration of a textolite condensing washer or destruction of a rubber cuff of an epiploon;
Deterioration of bearings;
Breakage of blades;
For pump removal it is necessary:
To merge cooling liquid from the engine;
weaken nuts of bolts of fastening of the generator to an arm;
To turn away a bolt of fastening of a paw of the generator to an adjusting lath;
To move the generator to a side and to remove a belt of a drive of the liquid pump and the generator;
To turn away bolts of fastening and to remove a fan pulley;
To turn away a nut of bolts of fastening of the pump to the bottom cover of asterisks of a drive of a camshaft and to remove the pump.
At installation of the pump which make upside-down, check a condition of a paper lining between an end face of a flange of the pump and a plane of a basic platform on the bottom cover of asterisks. The damaged lining replace new.
Having established the liquid pump and a pulley, regulate a belt tension. Pump dismantling make at deterioration of bearings and epiploon failure.
At dismantling:
Turn on a fastening bolt крыльчатки;
Remove from the end of the platen by means of a stripper;
nut of the lock screw of the bearing also turn out the screw;
Having rested a forward end face of the liquid pump, hammer blow through оправку on the platen end beat out it from the case in gathering with the bearing.
Usually this operation carry out on a manual press. Further in case of strong deterioration press bearings from the platen, wash out pump details in gasoline (except a sealing washer and an epiploon); check a condition of a surface of an end face of the plug of the case of the pump.
