Carburettor repair
For repair of the carburettor it usually
remove from the car, assort, clean and blow compressed air of its
detail and valves; change worn out details and failed, collect the
carburettor, regulate fuel level in to the chamber and regulate
idling system. To remove and establish the carburettor, and also
to fix and tighten fastening nuts it is possible only on the cold
carburettor, at the cold engine.
To remove the carburettor, at first it is necessary to remove the
air pump, then to disconnect from management sector throttle a cable
and a returnable spring, draught and a cover of draught of a drive
air. Further turn out the screw of fastening and remove the block
of heating of the carburettor; then disconnect electric wires of
the trailer switch of the carburettor, and in some cars -compulsory
idling. After that nuts of fastening of the carburettor turn on,
remove it and close caps an entrance aperture of an inlet pipe.
Establish the carburettor upside-down.
To disassemble a carburettor cover, it is necessary carefully to
push out an axis of floats from racks and to remove them; to remove
a cover lining, to turn out a saddle of the needle valve, fuel-wire
of giving of fuel and to take out the fuel filter. Then to turn
out systems of idling and to take out a fuel jet; to turn out a
bolt and to remove the liquid chamber; to remove a collar of fastening
of the case of a spring, a spring and its screen. If it is necessary,
disconnect the case of the semi-automatic starting arrangement,
its cover, a diaphragm, an emphasis, the adjusting screw throttle
draught of the lever throttle.
In certain cases to restore working capacity of the carburettor
it is possible, without removing it from the car and without assorting
completely, and by adjustment of system of idling, a drive air and
cleanings of its filter or with partial dismantling of the carburettor.
Partial dismantling includes cover removal, adjustment of level
of fuel in to the chamber and a purge of jets.
