of spark plugs of a deposit and their replacement, check of fastening
and isolation of wires. At maintenance service of contactless system
of ignition it is necessary to check up cleanliness and fastening
of all devices and conductors. External and internal surfaces of
a cover of the gauge-distributor and a rotor need to be wiped carefully
the pure rag moistened with gasoline, to smooth out electrodes of
lateral plugs and a rotor plate. It is necessary to wipe also the
case of the electronic switchboard and the ignition coil, to check
reliability of fastening of connections in electric chains low both
a high voltage and integrity of protective caps of all connections.
Besides, it is necessary to check density of landing of wires on
full depth in tips of candles and gauge-distributor covers. Candles
in contactless ignition system replace through each 17 000-20 000
km of run. That start of the engine with contactless system of ignition
during the winter period was reliable, in the winter irrespective
of their condition it is recommended to replace spark plugs new,
and the removed candles to use in the spring and in the summer.
If colour of an insulator of a spark plug from light grey to light
brown, the case pure, electrodes are not worn out, it speaks about
conformity of a candle to the given engine and its normal work.
The black dry deposit on a candle means that it does not correspond
to the given engine or a working mix. The burnt out electrodes specify
in the overheat of the candle caused by its discrepancy to the given
engine, on application gasoline or abnormality of installation of
ignition.
In domestic cars of old marks installation of the moment of ignition
check after the first 2000 km of run and then after each 10 000
km of run.
In modern cars of foreign manufacture the ignition moment only establish
and do not check. Through each 10 000 km of run of a spark plug
it is necessary to clear of a deposit, and through each 30 000 km
of run them replace new.
